Do you like the title of this post? It’s like a play on ‘Today’s Mail’ except nails..!
The past few weeks at work have been quite stressful. I normally keep my nails painted but I haven’t even had time to do that. Lucky this week is much calmer and I’ve not only managed to paint my nails but even do a little bit of nail art on them! It’s not much, just pink with white spots, but it’s made me feel better!

- Sally Hansen Insta-Dry Topcoat
I have quite a steady hand so I did the dots by myself- people are always impressed, someone even asked if they were nail transfers the other day! The only problem I sometimes have, which you can see a little bit in this photo, is that sometimes putting the topcoat on smudges the white dots. I usually get around this buy dotting the topcoat on with the flat tip of the brush, letting it dry and then doing another layer on top, but this time I couldn’t really be bothered waiting!
Also, I love the Sally Hansen top coat – it adds a fantastic shine to the nails and it dries to the touch really quickly, and doesn’t take very long to dry all the way through either. That’s really handy for people like me who tend to forget they’ve painted their nails, and accidentally touch their hair… None of that with this magic varnish though!
