Chicken Katsu Curry
I absolutely love Wagamama’s, I usually get the Prawn Kare Lomen whenever I go. But this week I decided to branch out and try the Chicken Katsu Curry. This turned out to be an amazing decision. It was a little weird at first but I didn’t really know what to expect. Then I tried some of the chicken and it was like a flavour explosion in my mouth. Absolutely delicious! It’s enough to have tempted me away from the noodles, and that’s saying something. I went with my mum and grandma, and we tried out a new side too, the Ebi Katsu – this also turned out to be an A+ decision, the prawns were amazing and the chilli sauce that came with it was gorgeous too! Even the waitress was chatting with us about how lovely the sauce was, and I texted my friend Jade straight away and she told me she’d already tried it… Without telling me! How rude!
Baymax Phone Case
I actually ordered this a few weeks ago, but somehow managed to completely forget about it. So when it arrived on Saturday, I was surprised and very happy. I was even so excited by it, that I immediately went and downloaded a text message tone of Baymax going “buh-luh-luh-luh!” I swear I am 23.
Deadpool At SDCC
I stayed up stupidly late on Saturday night because I found out that the 20th Century Fox panel was on, little did I realise that the time actually translated to 1:45am UK time (and the Deadpool section wasn’t even on until about 3am!). I can’t explain how excited I am for this movie, and it makes me so happy that the cast and crew seem just as excited as I am! At the end of the panel they premiered the trailer for the movie – it received a really long standing ovation from the crowd and they were calling out for an encore, and it got one. The trailer has been leaked online but it’s camera phone recordings of the screen, and I’ve read that it’s going to be released properly this week so maybe I’ll be able to include it in next week’s round-up!
Panic! At The Disco – Hallelujah
On Tuesday Panic! At The Disco finally released the official music video for their song Hallelujah, the audio for which has been floating about the internet since April. The video is inspired by the puzzle game Monument Valley, which I absolutely love (although I’m currently very stuck on this one level and I have no idea how to figure it out…) Panic! are another band I have been following for a number of years now, but I think it’s safe to say they’re the ones who have changed the most. I mean, come on, Brendon Urie isn’t even wearing any eyeliner anymore.
