I’ve seen so many people talking about this Snow Fairy shower gel that when it finally came back into stores I just had to give it a try. I was a little unsure at first because it looks like it has tiny bits of glitter in it, and I’m allergic to glitter, but I haven’t had any allergic reactions to it and I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks now. That said it looks like there’s a big clump of glitter that’s gathered at the bottom, but for now everything is fine!
The shower gel is a lovely shade of pink, and whilst the packaging reckons it smells like candy floss, I have to disagree- I think it smells more like bubblegum. Not that it’s a bad thing! It is very sweet-smelling though, so if you don’t want to smell like you dipped yourself in sugar (although I don’t know why you wouldn’t) then maybe consider something a bit more muted.
I’m the type of person who showers at night time – I have really thick hair which takes hours to blow dry so I just let it dry naturally overnight. Unfortunately the smell doesn’t last on my skin overnight, which is a real shame. Maybe if they brought out some kind of Snow Fairy moisturiser the smell would last longer!
I’ve been using the shower gel nightly for nearly two weeks now, as I mentioned earlier, and I’m using a reasonable amount each time, and I’m happy to report that it’s lasting quite well!
I saw three different sizes in the store: 100g (£3.95), 250g (£7.95), and 500g (£12.75), although on the website there’s also a 1kg bottle (£21.50). I went with the 250g bottle, but I might get some more- the sell by date on mine is in November 2016, and Snow Fairy isn’t an all-year product, so it’s probably worth stocking up now!
Have you tried Snow Fairy? What do you think of it? Let me know!
