It feels like it’s been absolutely forever since payday, and it’s still a week and a half until the next one. I’m sure a lot of people have been eyeing up what they’re planning to get once their next lot of money comes through – I know I have! Here’s what’s on my radar so far.
1) Fall Out Boy Letterman Fleece, $60 (around £42), from FOB’s GoMerch site
I’ve said it before and I’ll carry on saying it until I’m blue in the face and everyone believes me: you can never have too much Fall Out Boy merchandise. When I spotted this jacket on their merch site I had to have it. It’s similar to the ones they wore when they performed on Jimmy Kimmel with Boyz II Men (who I also love).
2) Panic! At The Disco – Death Of A Bachelor, £7.99, from Amazon
It dawned on me recently that I’ve actually been a Panic! At The Disco fan for longer than I’d thought – turns out I’ve liked them since 2005, right when their debut album came out. That’s mind blowing. Anyway, their brand new album comes out on January 15th. They’ve slowly been drip-feeding us new songs from it and I love all of them so far, so I’m sure this album will be a massive hit. You know, I’ve been a fan for so long, but I’ve never seen them live. Which nicely brings me on to…
3) Slam Dunk North Tickets, £46.20 without Afterparty admission, £51.70 with (STBF), from SeeTickets
My friend Amy from Gnar Mosh was really surprised to hear I’d never been to Slam Dunk before. It’s full of pop punk acts, and it’s basically my perfect festival. Alas, the festival is entering their 10th year, and it’s promising to be an amazing line-up, with Panic! At The Disco already announced as the headliners, and another announcement planned for the 20th. I’m planning on going with my friend Alex from work and we’re itching to buy our tickets already! Hurry up, payday!
4) DKNY Be Delicious Fresh Blossom EDP 50ml, £25 from Boots
I’ve had the DKNY Be Delicious Green perfume for a few years now, and when I saw the Fresh Blossom edition on an Amazon Lightning Deal I thought I’d give it a try. As it turns out, it’s actually become one of my favourite perfumes! It’s currently on an ‘up to Half Price’ offer in Boots, down from £48.50, so I’m hoping they still have some in stock by the time payday rolls around, because that’s an offer not to be missed.
5) Peanut Butter M&Ms Large (50oz) Bag, £34.99 from Amazon
I don’t even like peanut butter that much but I’m basically obsessed with peanut butter M&Ms. I had them once, about a year ago, and thought they were pretty average, but recently Lindsey and I went to the cinema to see Star Wars: The Force Awakens and she brought us a huge bag of them each, and it’s well and truly awoken something in me (pun intended). I probably won’t waste nearly £35 on a massive bag of M&Ms but I will more than likely seriously consider it, hovering my mouse over the Buy Now With 1-Click button.
What’ve you got your eye on for when that sweet payday cheque comes in?
