On Thursday I went to see Enter Shikari in Manchester. Okay, I say I went to see Enter Shikari, but really I was there for their support act, The Wonder Years. I’ve been listening to them for ages but hadn’t seen them live. They were awesome and I hope they do their own headline tour soon! I had to get out of the crowd once they finished because Shikari fans are even more Hectic (pun intended) than I anticipated.
On Friday we had a belated family meal for my Aunty’s birthday. Her birthday was at the start of the month but we haven’t been able to get everyone together until this week, so my Uncle picked her up from work and brought her to the restaurant. She was so surprised, it was brilliant! And yes, that cake was just as delicious as it looks!
Nintendo have this thing called Virtual Console where they put all those old games you used to love on a format that you can play on your current games consoles. To celebrate their 20th year, they put Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow up on Virtual Console this week. I naturally got Yellow, because I used to love having Pikachu follow me round! But growing up in Germany meant my copies of the games were in German, so playing it in English feels so weird!
No Doubt – Ex-Girlfriend
For some reason this week, every time I turn on the music channels, this song is playing. Not that I’m complaining – it’s a great song and I used to love No Doubt. So I thought I’d share it since it’s been in my orbit all week. Enjoy!
