Just be nice to people. It’s not worth being a douchebag. The other week I found some blue plastic in my dessert at a restaurant and the waitress immediately tensed up like I was gonna go mad. But I was nice and the manager was very accommodating because of it – she went beyond and did a couple of extra things she didn’t need to. And I’m certain it’s because I was nice about it.
At the same time, though, you can’t let people walk all over you. Be nice and let one car out into the traffic you’re already sitting in. But don’t let the car behind him out, too. Otherwise you’ll end up letting everyone out and getting nowhere. Know where to draw the line!
You never know when your favourite band are going to go on a break, split up, or even worse. Go and see them whilst you can. And if you’re debating paying a little extra for those better tickets? You won’t regret it. Someone once said you should use money for experiences, over material possessions and I would have to agree.
Yeah, that annoying proverb your parents used to preach at you? Turns out they had a point. Credit cards, loans, and overdrafts are all fun and games until it’s time to pay them back. Cut back on unnecessary expenditure and save the money to buy things outright yourself! Of course buying things like cars on finance is still going to be necessary, but make sure it’s something you can afford to pay back every month for the next however many years.
This one is pretty self-explanatory. Pizza is probably one of the most versatile foods. You can buy it in slices or in whole pizzas, you can have whatever you want o it, you can even get it gluten free. Get the pizza. You deserve it.
What do you make of my life hacks? Agree/disagree?
