On Wednesday my Mother’s Day present for my mum finally came to existence and we went to see Bruce Springsteen at the Etihad in Manchester. We had a great time even though it rained all day – but I won’t go into too much detail as I’ve already written about the show here!
This weekend was finally Slam Dunk weekend! On the Friday night my friends and I went to the pre-party so we could exchange our tickets for wristbands in advance. This turned out to be a brilliant plan, as the next day we saw the wristband queue was about a mile long. We partied a little too hard though, and were all feeling a bit worse for wear the next day. But we soon got over that when we saw the bands!
I only noticed after I got back to my hotel and climbed into bed that now that I’ve finally seen Panic! life, this means I’ve seen all of my favourite bands live. It’s a pretty emotional realisation – although when I told my mum, her response was “good, you can stop now!” Mother. No. Panic! were incredible, they really know how to put on a live show and Brendon sounds possibly even better live than he does recorded. Weird right?!
Beauty & The Beast
Earlier this week we finally got to see the first teaser trailer for the new live action Beauty & The Beast with Emma Watson as Belle! The original movie came out a week before I was born so it has a special place in my heart, and so I was unsure of how this version would fare. Thankfully, it looks incredible and I’m really excited to see it!
